Philip Kirk graduated fifth in his class from the University of Oregon School of Law and was inducted into the Order of the Coif — a national honor society recognizing the top 10% of law school graduates.
Phil’s commitment to excellence in the legal community landed him on the local bar association Board of Directors since 2023. He was elected as President of Deschutes County Bar Association, in 2024.

Oregon Personal Injury Attorney
Philip was born and raised in Klamath Falls and has been building his legal career across the state since 2018. He started as an intern handling public defense cases ranging from petty theft to murder, then moved into civil litigation as an extern at the Klamath Falls Office of Legal Aid Services of Oregon. In his final year of law school, he clerked at a prominent Willamette Valley civil law firm where he worked on wrongful death cases involving quasi-governmental entities.
As an injury lawyer, his practice at High Desert Law covers wrongful death, semi-truck crashes, DUI and dram shop cases, severe motor vehicle collisions, catastrophic pedestrian and cyclist injuries, product liability claims, and dog bites. He brings careful preparation and clear focus to each one.
When he’s not taking the stress off his clients’ plates, Philip fly-fishes Central Oregon's streams, kayaks mountain lakes, hikes the Cascades, and loves Bend's breweries. His Corgi - Aussie, Sui, has been known to make an appearance at the office.
Philip attended Henley High School in Klamath Falls before earning a Bachelor of Science in History with a minor in Political Science from Oregon State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude and inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta National Honor Society.
He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law, graduating fifth in his class.
