Chloe Thompson: Personal Injury Attorney

OREGON INJURY ATTORNEY

Chloe is a second-generation lawyer who grew up on a cattle ranch in Crook County. After obtaining her undergraduate degree at the University of Oregon, Chloe was employed at two civil litigation firms in California before moving to Portland where she worked at a personal injury firm leading up to and during her time at Willamette University College of Law. There she had the opportunity to assist on a lawsuit in Eastern Oregon which resulted in a $26.5 million jury verdict.

Chloe has gained valuable experience working on a variety of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases. Her current practice focuses on collisions involving pedestrians, bicyclists, motor vehicles, commercial trucks, trains, airplanes, helicopters, and boats as well as sexual assault, products liability, premises liability, and dog bites. To further hone her skills, Chloe continues to be involved in a variety of professional activities – she is currently a board member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and a recent graduate of the Bill Barton Litigation Bootcamp.

Outside of work, Chloe enjoys world travel (she has been to 32 countries), hiking, riding horses, drinking craft beer, and floating the river. She especially loves spending time with her friends and family, in particular her husband and son.

What do you find to be the most rewarding part of what you do as an attorney?

I love working with clients while they embark on their healing journey and advocating on their behalf to get them fair compensation for their injuries.

Each year, SuperLawyers selects the top attorneys under 40 in various practice areas. No more than 2.5% are named to the Rising Stars list.

What has surprised you most about being an attorney?

The lack of education provided to consumers by insurance companies about the policies that the consumers hold, which in turn leads to many people being unaware of the benefits and rights that they have when they’re injured.
